Surrey Festival of Dance is a non profit organization. Our
mission is "To provide a high quality forum for dancers
to perform and to promote and expand dance awareness in the
community". The
purpose of the Society is:
- To
provide dance by means of participation in competition.

To provide a forum for dancers to perform before the highest
caliber of Adjudicators from North America and abroad.

To raise funds for Scholarships

To award Scholarships to deserving dancers at the discretion
of the Adjudicator

To hold an award ceremony at the end of the competition
to honour outstanding festival participants

To promote educational experience through the talents
of the Adjudicators

To help expand dance awareness in the community
Surrey Festival of Dance is operated by
a core of dedicated volunteers who devote many hours to
hold this annual event. Starting in September and running
until June, the society meets monthly with it's membership
to work out the variety of areas needed to ensure a successful
spring Festival.
Scholarships, summer schools, bursaries,
trophies, adjudicators and advertising, are looked at and
new contacts made.

to Festival time, scheduling and timing of classes are done,
program prepared and before you know it, the Surrey Festival
